Grant writing is a collaborative process, where I work with your organization including selected leadership, program staff, and volunteers to understand the current need, sustainability goals, fundraising capacity, services and impact, and your desired outcome in seeking grant support.
Grants should reflect your organization’s mission and voice, and establish or continue a relationship with the funder, whether corporate, community, family, or federal.
As part of grant writing consulting, I can help strategize which grants to apply to, when, and for what programs or organizational needs. In order to set your organization up for long-term grant seeking success, I can work with you to create emails and phone scripts when reaching out to grantors, act as a liaison to build those relationships, write and edit LOIs, grant submissions, and reports, and of course, work within your current fundraising and finance tracking systems (or help you create one!).
Grant writing services may also include helping to craft and prepare boiler plate language for use, auditing current program data reporting capacity, press release templates for use when announcing grant awards received, and more.
